Applicants must have obtained, or will have completed by the time they enroll to KAUST, a Bachelor's degree in engineering. Alternatively, an undergraduate degree in mathematics or sciences may be sufficient for acceptance, subject to faculty evaluation of individual applicants.

Admission is granted to both Master and PhD degree programs. The ME program preferentially admits PhD students, consistent with KAUST's strong emphasis on research.

The only method of applying to the ME Program is online, via KAUST's Admissions page. Upon receiving your online submission, the Admissions Office will process your application. The ME Program admissions
officer, together with a faculty committee, reviews applications and admits a number of qualified applicants that the ME faculty can accommodate.
